‘General’ Insurance

The group of products known as general insurance, includes home, car, travel and health insurance products. These are the essential 'every day' insurance products that provide us with peace of mind in the event of the unexpected.

As an independent broker, we can provide you with access to the whole of market and best rates on the following products:

Buildings & Contents Insurance

It doesn't matter whether you live in a one-bedroom flat or a five-bedroom detached house, your home is no doubt your castle. So it's important to make sure that you have the right protection in place in case something should go wrong.

What if there was a fire or the roof was damaged in a storm? Would you be able to pay for the repairs? And where would you live if your house was uninhabitable? Your home also contains some of your most valuable possessions. Could you afford to replace your flat screen TV or your jewellery collection if you were the target of burglars?

Landlords Insurance

As a landlord, you need to protect your financial well-being against the risk of damage to your property. It's vital that you have buildings and contents insurance cover so that, in the event of a storm, flood or other incident or accident, you won't be left out of pocket.

Accident, Sickness & Unemployment (ASU) Cover

ASU is a short term income protection policy.  It will provide you with a monthly income for up to 12 to 24 months if you are unable to work due to an accident, sickness or if you are made redundant from your work.

Stand Alone Unemployment Cover

This provides protection against involuntary redundancy from your work, usually for a maximum period of 12 months.  This policy can be very useful if you already have suitable sick pay arrangements with your employer and do not have a need for accident & sickness cover.

Insurances

It is important to remember:

  • Your home or property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
  • The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate buy-to-let mortgages
  • There may be a fee for mortgage advice.  The precise amount will depend upon your circumstances but our typical fee is £195
